Congratulations to ALL Lady Junior Knights Teams who gave a fine showing at the 2009 Bartlett Hawks Girls Travel Basketball Tournament with a combined record of 12 and 5.
This weekend saw the 7th grade team losing their first game to the Wolfpack, but not lacking in effort from the whole team and especially from Kiley Walsh who made 5 three-point shots. Their second game against Kaneland saw the girls winning the game with six free throws in the last minute of play, which wound up being the winning margin. And in their last game, the girls came back from a 12 to 2 deficit, wining in the end 29-27 - an overall Fine Showing for the 7th Grade Girls!!!
Overall the Prospect Lady Junior Knights showing in tournaments is a combined 45 and 24, which is a very respectful .652 winning percentage and when you add in conference and non-conference games, our record sits at 65 and 26, which is a .714 winning percentage - these are excellent results. But success alone is not gauged by winning and losing and we've seen a ton of individual and team improvement as well - Go Knights!
